When conventional treatment for aphids in his ornamental pumpkin fields was going to take its toll on any profit, this Illinois grower sought out other options. A friend recommended he reach out to SoilBiotics to see if they had products that could help the aphid problem more affordably.

And we’re dropping rates on conventional fungicide.”

“With pumpkins especially, we’re not seeing the bacterial problem, not seeing aphids explode or white mold take over in days,” the grower said of his crops now that he’s using SoilBiotics products. “That showed me we had ramped up plant health with soil and what we applied with the planter.”
